Health Service Administration

Health Care Student - Orlando, FLKeiser University offers a Bachelor’s degree for those considering the health care field. The Health Services Administration program (an Associate’s is also available) teaches students the skills needed to work in the administrative end of health care. Areas of study include coding and billing, as well as legal issues.


Preparing students for a career performing laboratory studies of tissue, the Histotechnology course of study at Keiser is an Associate of Science Degree program.

Throughout this program, students will learn about the composition of dyes and chemicals, gain an understanding of tissue composition, and learn about the functions of normal and abnormal tissue, In addition, coursework will focus of the study of cellular morphology and chemical composition.

Massage Therapy

As a student in the Massage Therapy program you will receive instruction in therapeutic massage. You will also be taught about the structure and function of the human body.

Students will be trained in hydrotherapy, the legal issues associated with massage, the prevention of medical errors, and other related massage techniques. Depending on course of study, graduates will receive an Associate of Science Degree or Diploma with a major in Massage Therapy.

Medical Assistant

Radiologic Technology

Equipping students with the knowledge and skills needed to accurately and professionally perform diagnostic imaging services, graduates of the Radiologic Technology program will be prepared to seek entry level employment in this exciting and rewarding field.

Students of this program will learn how to use critical thinking and problem solving, and develop vital communication skills. In addition, students will learn medical terminology, radiographic procedures, radiation protection, and equipment operation techniques.

Occupational Therapy Assistant

For a more literal “hands-on” career, students can pursue an Associate’s degrees to become a Occupational Therapy Assistant. Graduates of this program go on to work with licensed Therapists to bring comfort and healing to patients suffering from physical ailments that limit their daily lives. Again, these are positions that allow graduates to work directly with patients to make a difference in their lives.

Because Keiser University focuses so heavily on individualized attention, the faculty members must be onboard with the agenda. The student-to-instructor ratio is intentionally low to allow for more one-on-one time. Students also attend only one class at a time for a month each, so they get the opportunity to really know their instructors.

The magic began for Orlando when Walt Disney decided to locate Disney World there in the mid 1960s. He was considering Tampa and Miami but selected Orlando because it is inland and not as vulnerable to hurricanes.

Today, Orlando can lay claim to offering more theme parks and entertainment venues than any other city in the world. You can go to Disney World, Universal Studios Orlando and Sea World.

In addition to the large theme parks, residents and visitors also enjoy smaller entertainment venues, like the Medieval Tournament, Wonderworks or the Wet & Wild water park.

Orlando is famous for golf courses that make playing golf fun for everyone from beginners to pros. It is estimated that more than 52 million people visit the city each year, many of whom take advantage of the numerous golf courses and facilities.
