Taking the Certified Professional Coder Exam

If you are taking a medical billing and coding course, you will soon be faced with the Certified Professional Coder (CPC) exam. This exam, offered through the AAPC, the largest credentialing body for the field, is the best way to land a job and get the rate of pay you desire.

What is On the CPC Test?

The CPC test covers a total of 150 multiple choice questions, which take up to 5 hours and 40 minutes to complete. The test costs $300 to take, and this price includes one free re-test if you don’t pass the first time.
