Health Care Programs

The Dental Assisting Program at Fortis College seeks to provide students with hands-on training and techniques to work in the treatment room under the supervision of a dentist. The college intends to prepare students with the interpersonal and technical skills to obtain an entry-level position as a Dental Assistant.

Students may earn their Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene at Fortis in Birmingham, Al. At Fortis, the dental hygiene program prepares students for to sit for a licensure exam after graduation to possibly qualify to work as an entry-level hygienist.
